A special thank you goes out to Disney for providing me with travel, accommodations, and access to the TOMORROWLAND event. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
If you are looking for a way to get kids excited about the FUTURE, Rockets, and Space Exploration, here is an easy activity with Toilet Paper Rolls.
To recreate the Toilet Paper Roll Rocket Craft, you will need:
2 Cardboard Toilet Paper Rolls
Scissors
Tape
Directions:
Cut 4 small slits into the side of one toilet paper roll. Depending upon your child’s maturity you may need to do this or supervise.
Then cut the other other toilet paper roll in half. Insert those to halves into the slits of the other roll to look like rocket boosters.
Next, cut out 5-6 triangles from the top of the toilet paper roll. Fold the remaining top in and place 2 pieces of tape to form a point.
Then, cut a small slit into the rocket boosters and into the triangles and insert those into those slits.
It is that simple to create these rockets, and the kids will love them. You can even decorate them with crayons, markers, or even stickers.
