I made semi homemade Spinach and 3 Cheese Lasagna Rolls this week and they tasted amazing! This was due to good advice from my Italian mother-in-law, adding delicious ingredients, as well as contributing the great flavors of Victoria Fine Foods into the recipe.
Victoria Fine Foods is a pasta sauce manufacturer that was founded in 1929 and based in Brooklyn, New York. The company uses a slow, kettle-cooked approach to create their Premium product, and each jar has 10 servings of vegetables with no added water, sugar, or preservatives.
This delicious combination is made with non-GMO ingredients, is gluten-free, and provides the flavor of an authentic homemade sauce. Victoria Fine Foods sauces are available in a wide assortment and varieties including Premium, Organic, Vegan, plus more.
For my Spinach and 3 Cheese Lasagna Rolls, I decided to use the Marinara Sauce as well as shredded cheese, ricotta, and fresh baby spinach. To see how I created this recipe, ingredients and directions are listed below.
Spinach and 3 Cheese Lasagna Rolls
Makes 18 Rolls
Ingredients:
1 Jar of Victoria Fine Foods Marina Sauce
1 package of Lasagna Noodles
1/2 Cup of Shredded Mozzarella
1/2 Cup of Shredded Parmesan
1 Cup of Ricotta Cheese
1/2 of a 6 oz Bag of Baby Spinach
Directions:
First, prepare the lasagna noodles to al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and allow to cool. Then place them on parchment paper. (A special thank you to my mother-in-law for the recommendation)
Next, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and place a thin layer of pasta sauce in the bottom of a large pan. (I used around a 1/2 cup.)
Then chop up the baby spinach and combine in a bowl with the cheeses. Next put 2 tablespoons of the mixture on one side of the lasagna noodle, and roll.
Place this on top of the Victoria Fine Foods Marina Sauce. Once all noodles are complete pour the rest of the sauce over the tops and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
When the rolls are cooked, serve warm topped with a thin layer of shredded Parmesan. This lasagna creation is definitely pleasing to the eye and also to the palate.
