Given the right resources, a child’s imagination can go “Out Of This World” and one of the best places to fuel these minds of future leaders is at school!
Of course this is only possible with adequate funding, and Winn Dixie is supporting this initiative by offering special eBoxTops through their digital coupons program. Each eBoxTop is worth $0.10!
I happen to be a Box Tops for Education Coordinator, so I have seen first hand the value of this program. Our organization has used monies earned to purchase new playground equipment, musical instruments as well as equipment for our physical education department, and most recently we purchased picnic tables for snack time and outdoor activities.
You bet I will be encouraging parents to sign up for the Winn Dixie Rewards Program. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to be able to add COUPONS to the card for General Mills items as well as Fuel Perks to save on gas.
I actually added these eBoxTops to my Winn Dixie Rewards Card yesterday and shopped in store for my kiddos lunches.
Of course my oldest requested the Star Wars Fruit Snacks and Go-Gurts, and I grabbed Nature Valley Granola bars (for me as well as the kids).
FYI there may be a slight delay in eboxtops being credited, so be sure to check your account within 24 to 48 hours. I also made sure that I was using the same email address for both accounts. If you need assistance or do not see your eboxtops reflected, simply contact the Winn Dixie customer service.
Now all of this space related product inspired me to put together an Out of This World Themed Lunch for all my kids.
To get started, I first printed out an “Alien Fuel” sleeve. I then cut it out and taped it around the juice pouch. For your convenience I created this –> Alien Fuel Printable for Outer Space Themed Lunch, simply print on the full page option.
I then used a cookie cutter to slice up the sandwich into “STARS”. Tip: It was easier to slice when not toasted, I got 4 stars versus 3 in my second attempt.
Then, I sliced carrots into “FULL MOONS and HALF MOONS” and added “ASTEROID” fruits as well as the Star Wars Fruit Snacks and Lightsaber Go-Gurts.
To finish I gave them each a Nature Valley Granola Bar in the likely case my little “Space Pilots” needed extra energy for their mission. Let’s just say that my kiddos are excited to eat lunch today!
Does your local school or schools participate in the Box Tops for Education Program? Which of these eligible products would you purchase for your family?
To learn more about this program visit eBoxTops at Winn Dixie! I can’t wait to see the Box Tops credits start to apply at to our school!
