White Chocolate Chex Party Mix! A Sweet and Salty Recipe!

disclosure

A few years back I had learned about a neat concept called a “Noon Year’s Eve” party. My family and I actually attended a get together in this theme and really had a great time.

White Chocolate Chex Party Mix Recipe

Since I am planning on my own “Noon Year’s Eve” this year, I will need to have a few easy recipes. One that I will definitely be using is my New Year’s White Chocolate Chex Party Mix.

Not only do I have fun food set-up for our event, but I am going to decorate with streamers, have silly hats for us all to wear, as well as setting out noise makers and horns for the kids.

Chex cereals and Ziploc avaliable at Publix

We will also count down to Noon and let a BIG Apple Craft fall (still working on those details). Plus, I am going to have sparkling grape juice with plastic champagne glasses and plenty of finger foods for the kiddos.

Be sure to visit your local Publix to grab party foods along with printing a Coupon for Buy TWO (2) Chex® cereals and get ONE (1) FREE Ziploc® brand bags or containers (up to $3.29). Also, check out how to make my Chex Party Mix recipe below.

White Chocolate Chex Party Mix Ingredients

New Year’s White Chocolate Chex Party Mix

4 Cups of Rice Chex

2 Cups of Wheat Chex

2 Cups of Salted Pretzel Sticks

1/4 Cup of Ice Cream Sprinkles (feel free to change the colors for the occasion)

8 oz of White Chocolate Baking Squares

Optional: If you are a fan of nuts add 1 cup of Salted Cashews to the mix.

Chex Party Mix

Directions:

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread out and combine the Rice and Wheat Chex.

Then in a microwavable bowl, melt the White Chocolate Baking Squares. First start with 30 seconds and stir, and then 10 second increments continuing to stir until it is completely liquefied.

Next, drizzle the chocolate over the Chex and then spread the Ice Cream Sprinkles on top. Move this to the fridge and allow it to set for at least 30 minutes (or longer if need be).

Finally, break apart the pieces and place in a Holiday Ziploc Container with the pretzels and shake. Keep this mix in an air tight container to maintain freshness. FYI, my hubby is not a fan of certain nuts so I cut our mix in half and added 1/2 cup of Cashews to one container.
